Backbone Yoga is committed to delivering high quality yoga classes, taught by exceptional teachers to their respective communities.  Yoga at Backbone is taught as the "instruction manual for the mind and body" with elements of physical origami, traditional Vinyasa and Ashtanga yoga, breath work, and athletically geared stretching and inversion instruction woven together to form a complete, intelligent practice.


Backbone Yoga was founded in 2014 in Clinton, NJ.  Backbone's brick and mortar studio resides within Impact Martial Arts and has been offering classes 7 days a week since.  New and experienced practitioners will find an array of classes  taught by dedicated instructors that allow for and encourage the evolution of their own personal practice and development.  

Unlike most studios, our flooring is not hardwood.  Our matted flooring allows for a nice cushioning for your joints, and a safe place to fall for jumping and inversion practices.
